At Wargaming World, this hobby is more than just business, it is a lifelong passion. What started as a fascination with tiny warriors and fantastical battles in my early teens quickly grew into something much bigger. Like many hobbyists of my generation, my journey began with Warhammer Fantasy, spending countless hours building armies, reading lore, rolling dice, and losing myself in worlds filled with magic, war, and adventure. Not long after came the grim darkness of Warhammer 40,000, opening the door to an entirely new universe of stories, strategy, and creativity.

Over the years, that passion expanded far beyond a single game system. I explored historical wargaming, skirmish games, roleplaying systems, and countless other tabletop experiences. A deep love for history, something I formally studied, naturally connected with the world of wargaming. History is filled with incredible stories, grand battles, legendary leaders, and fascinating cultures, and tabletop gaming brings that passion to life in a uniquely personal and creative way.

But Wargaming World is not only built on gaming. It is also inspired by a love for literature, reading, writing, painting, and storytelling. For me, the hobby has always been about more than competition. It is about creativity, imagination, craftsmanship, friendship, and immersion. Painting miniatures after a long day, reading army books late into the night, creating stories around campaigns, or carefully building terrain pieces, these are the moments that make this hobby truly special.

Today, Wargaming World is still a small one-man company based in the Netherlands, built from genuine enthusiasm and dedication to the hobby community.
